WR12 WHEEL RAKES Rake FAQs

Is the John Deere WR12 a Frontier wheel rake?

Yes. The WR12 Series High-Capacity Wheel Rake is part of the Frontier line of implements, and Koenig Equipment sells and supports Frontier attachments along with John Deere equipment.

Which models are in the WR12 Series wheel rake line?

The WR12 Series includes the WR1212, WR1214, WR1216 and WR1218 wheel rakes. A two-wheel add-on kit converts a WR1214 to a WR1216 to increase raking width.

How wide is the WR12 wheel rake for transport?

WR12 transport widths are 8.5 ft or less, making it easy to get through narrow roads and gates. Limited oscillating, offset tandem wheels give a smooth ride, even over irrigation tracks.

How do I adjust windrow width on the WR12 wheel rake?

A crank at the rear of the WR12 makes windrow width adjustment easy. Optional center kicker wheel kits with two or three wheels rake the hay in the center that the rake wheels do not turn, which improves drying time and windrow pickup for the baler.

What conversion kits are available for the WR12 wheel rake?

Kits include hydraulic couplers, which are not standard on the WR1212, WR1214, WR1216 and WR1218, and kits that let you open and close the raking arms hydraulically instead of by hand. A wind panel kit helps with short or dry crops, and rake beam support wheel kits for the WR1214 and WR1216 improve float over irrigation tracks and rough ground.

Where can I buy genuine parts for my John Deere WR12 wheel rake?

Koenig Equipment stocks genuine John Deere parts for the WR12, and our parts teams across Ohio and Indiana can find what you need for your machine. Choose same-day delivery from a nearby Koenig store or pick up in store. Our trained technicians can also handle your WR12's seasonal maintenance and repairs.
