Min Till Rippers and Subsoilers

Min Till Rippers and Subsoilers

Min till rippers and subsoilers shatter deep compaction while keeping surface residue in place. The John Deere MT Series covers row crop acres with 5 to 11 standards, and the Frontier PS10 subsoiler brings the same idea to smaller tractors with a single shank.

Koenig Equipment sells and services tillage equipment across Ohio and Indiana. Request a quote and our team will help you match the right size to your tractor.

Min Till Ripper and Subsoiler FAQs

What is the difference between a subsoiler and a min till ripper?
The PS10 subsoiler is a single-shank, three-point tool for tractors from 25 to 45 HP. MT Series min till rippers carry 5 to 11 standards on 30 inch spacing for row crop tractors and larger.

What size tractor do I need for an MT Series ripper?
Plan on 40 to 60 HP per standard. Our team can help you match a size to the tractor you own.

What trip options are available on MT Series rippers?
You can choose shear-bolt standards with a 7,200 lb trip force or cushion trip standards with a 3,200 lb trip force and a 12 inch trip height. Extended wear standards are designed to deliver twice the life expectancy.

Can I control depth from the cab?
Drawn MT7 and MT9 models offer TruSet in-cab depth control along with single-point crank adjustment. The integral MT7 sets depth with the tractor hitch.
