Wheel Weights
John Deere wheel weights are the ideal solution for improving your equipment’s stability and traction. These weights are designed to be mounted directly on your machinery’s wheels, adding essential ballast that helps counterbalance heavy implements and maintain ground contact on challenging terrain.
Optimize Performance with the Right Wheel Weights
Installing the correct John Deere wheel weights from Koenig Equipment helps extend tire and track life, supports safe loader operation, and delivers more consistent performance. By increasing the weight on the wheels, you gain better control and reduce the risk of slippage, ensuring your equipment operates safely and efficiently
Choosing the Right Wheel Weights
Wheel weights add ballast to keep the tractor stable and put power to the ground. They help with loader work, heavy rear implements and pulling, where a light tractor can spin its tires or lift a wheel.
Weights are made for a specific wheel or rim style, so match the weight to your tractor and wheel before you order, and check whether mounting bolts are included.
More weight is not always better. Your operator's manual explains how much ballast your tractor needs for the work you do and how to stay within the tire load rating.
Order online through John Deere's parts store with Koenig as your dealer, then pick it up at your Koenig store or have it shipped. If you are not sure you have the right part, call or stop by our parts counter with your model and serial number and we will look it up for you.
Wheel Weights FAQ
Do I need wheel weights for loader work?
Many tractors need rear ballast when using a loader to keep the rear wheels on the ground. Your operator's manual lists the ballast recommended for your tractor and loader.
Wheel weights or liquid ballast?
Both add weight. Wheel weights are easier to add or remove as your work changes. Our service department can help you decide what fits your tractor.
How do I find the right part number?
Look up your tractor by model and serial number in the John Deere Parts Catalog, or give our parts counter your serial number and we will find it for you.
