Certification is a dealer inspection: a 100+ point check of the machine's main components plus fluid testing. It is the step that makes a used machine eligible for PowerGard coverage. The inspection itself is not a warranty.
What does PowerGard cover on used equipment?
Used machines qualify for the Limited plan, which covers the main components of the engine and powertrain. Comprehensive coverage, which is similar to the factory warranty, is for new equipment.
Which used machines qualify?
Tractors up to 10 years old with up to 5,000 hours, and combines up to 7 years old with up to 2,000 hours. The machine must be inspected and certified before it is sold, and the plan is purchased at the time of sale. Ask us about sprayers and forage harvesters.
How long does used coverage last?
Used terms run from 6 to 36 months and from 500 to 2,000 hours, depending on the machine and the plan you choose.
