Hay Tedders

A tedder spreads freshly cut hay evenly so it conditions thoroughly and dries down quickly. John Deere and Frontier tedders use four rotors and run from a 540 rpm PTO.

TD13 or TD34?

Both are four-rotor tedders. The TD34 adds width and hydraulic tine pitch control you can adjust from the tractor seat.

What does a hay tedder do?
It spreads hay evenly after cutting so it dries thoroughly and quickly.

What size tractor do I need for a tedder?
The TD13 needs at least 20 hp and the TD34 at least 30 hp, each with one SCV and a 540 rpm PTO.

Can I adjust tine pitch from the tractor?
On the TD34, yes. Hydraulic tine pitch control lets you match mowed hay height in different fields and adjust for terrain changes such as terraces on the go.

How does the TD13 fold for transport?
It folds hydraulically to a vertical position and measures 9.2 ft wide and 8.7 ft high in transport. You can go from transport to working position from the tractor seat.
