John Deere Sprayers and Applicators

John Deere self-propelled sprayers cover every size of operation, from the compact R4023 for smaller fields to 400 and 600 Series sprayers with booms up to 132 ft. Dry spinner spreaders, spreader boxes and the 800R floater let you apply fertilizer and lime with the same technology.

Application Season Support

A sprayer down in May costs more than repair bills. Our ag service technicians work on John Deere sprayers and applicators, and an agriculture off-season inspection catches pumps, nozzles and boom wear before the season. Our team also helps set up the precision technology that runs on these machines, and genuine parts are available at your Koenig store and anytime on Koenig Marketplace.

John Deere Sprayer FAQs

What is the difference between the 400 and 600 Series sprayers?
Both offer booms up to 132 ft. The 408R, 410R and 412R carry 800 to 1,200 gal tanks with 280 to 326 hp. The 612R and 616R step up to 355 and 375 hp with 1,200 and 1,600 gal tanks.

Which John Deere sprayer suits smaller fields?
The R4023. It has a 600 gal tank, 80 or 90 ft steel booms that fold in to 60 ft for headland turns, and a 173 hp 4.5 L engine.

Can I spread dry fertilizer with my John Deere sprayer?
Yes. The DS20 fits the 408R, 410R, 412R, 612R and 616R, and the DS30 fits the 612R and 616R. Either converts the sprayer into a three-season applicator in as few as 4 hours.

What can the 800R floater apply?
The 800R can run a dry spinner spreader, an air boom or the LS20 Liquid System. A common hydraulic implement pump brings a combo machine changeover down to about 6 hours.

What technology comes on the 400R and 600R spreaders?
They come with integrated intelligence including a StarFire receiver and a JDLink connection, plus a choice of three cab and visibility packages.
