Features
1 Family Tractors are designed to minimize the time and effort needed to switch-out implements to accommodate different jobs.
1 Family Tractors can have up to three implements mounted simultaneously due to standard dual selective control valves (SCVs), allowing you to switch from using one implement to another without stopping to adjust. When a third SCV kit is added, the number of possible combinations is greatly increased.
The hydrostatic transmission’s infinite ground speeds and direction of travel are both controlled with the Twin Touch foot pedals.
Both 4WD and power steering are standard equipment on the 1 Family Tractors. This combination allows for excellent maneuverability and ease of operation.
The 1025R open operator station is designed for greater comfort and increased visibility.
Comfortable operation
Foldable Roll-Gard™ ROPS is standard equipment on 1025R
Updated instrumentation is standard equipment for operating convenience and confidence. Instrumentation includes:
The thick, soft padding on this seat provides a smooth and comfortable ride. A high, scalloped back makes it easier for the operator to turn to view rear implements. The embroidered logo and premium vinyl not only provide an easy-to-clean surface but also a well-polished design.
The 1 Family Tractor features a rear installed toolbox for easy accessibility and convenience.
The beverage holder is contour-molded and seated into the fender for a clean look. It is conveniently located and dual-sized to accommodate many containers. The placement of the cup holder is within arm's reach.
The 1025R Tractor features a 12-V outlet conveniently located on the right-hand side fender for easy access. The placement of the 12-V outlet is within arm's reach.
The fuel fill location is conveniently accessible on the left-hand side fender. The fuel gauge is located in close proximity to make the fuel refilling process easier.
The 1 Family Tractors feature tilt steering for easy maneuverability and convenience.
The John Deere 1R cab is about comfort, security, and helping you get year-round performance. The cab offers protection from the elements to expand the versatility of 1025R Tractors to perform in all climates.
Standard mechanical mower lift
The standard mechanical mower lift system moves the mower in conjunction with the rear implements and comes factory-installed on 1 Family Tractors.
Optional hydraulic mower lift
The optional hydraulic mower lift system allows the mower to be raised and lowered independently of the rear implements. It uses the loader joystick to lift and lower the mower deck.
Optional independent hydraulic mower lift
The optional independent hydraulic lift system allows the mower to be raised and lowered independently of the rear and front implements. It operates using a rocker switch mounted on the tractor, located at the operator’s left knee.

Equipment Mobile:
Please note that Smart Connectors offer local connectivity via Bluetooth, while JDLink modems enable remote connectivity and provide valuable data including location, machine performance metrics, health data, access to John Deere Connected Support services, and more.
Users can still benefit from Equipment Mobile if they do not have a Smart Connector.
Installing the Smart Connector will offer additional capabilities to help monitor equipment by sending information from the tractor to the user’s mobile device using Bluetooth® wireless capability. The following table outlines the differences between using Equipment Mobile with and without a Smart Connector.

To pair the John Deere Smart Connector with a phone and tractor, you must first be in range with the tractor equipped with the John Deere Smart Connector. Once the Smart Connector is plugged in and the tractor is keyed on, the Smart Connector will be available to pair within Equipment Mobile. The flow of pairing a Smart Connector in Equipment Mobile is shown below.

No snow haven't used it yet but had these tractors before
I truly love the 1025r. I did a video on YouTube about it. With spacers weights its a blessing for me
I bought this 2 months ago and really like the tractor. It has been handy.
I waited until now to give you my review on the John Deere tractor and give me sometime to see all the uses that it could provide. So far I'm pleased with the tractor and the way it handles, I gave it a good workout this summer.
So far we love our mower. Because of the time of year we’ve only used it a couple times but it’s great, and has made our chores around our property easier.
We purchased this tractor from the Casey, IL dealer (at that time it was Alliance). The tractor was equipped with the backhoe, so therefore the lift arms assemblies were not on the tractor. I was promised the kits but I have been unable to get it, now the dealership (alliance) has sold to Sloan and they know nothing about this and are telling me that I will have to buy the arms assemblies. It is standard equipment and I do not feel that I should have to purchase them.
My old John Deere was a good purchase about 15 years ago. It's current replacement is a very good machine with good safety features and mechanical/electrical upgrades to make it an even higher quality tractor. The back hoe attachment is more user friendly with its own seat , improved locking system when not in use, well-marked functional control labels, well protected hydraulic hoses, good under-the seat storage cylinder for small tools, clear attached instructions for use of hydraulic controls, better parking brake system with user-friendly handle.
Have enjoyed my new 1025r for the last month or so. Only issue so far was opening the hood for the first time. (0.2 hours) I noticed a crack in the hood at the latch point. Dealer is ordering me a new hood.
