This Unverferth AWS-48 Field Runner header transport handles 48-foot and smaller grain platforms with patented 6-wheel all-wheel steering for a tight 14-foot turning radius and easy maneuvering through fields and roads. Front axle-mounted rubber-cushioned suspension absorbs rough terrain while the walking tandem rear axle with oscillating frame maintains stability in ditches and valleys, supported by high-capacity IF 320/65x15 tires. It includes 2-wheel electric brakes on the front axle with breakaway cable for reliable stopping power during transport, plus tool-free adjustable rest brackets and tie-downs for secure header loading.
