Tyler Kelley

Consumer Account Manager

Tyler got his start in 2010 as a mechanic, then filled in across the parts department, equipment setup, and delivery. Eight years with Koenig and four years of diesel training later, he knows lawn and compact equipment inside and out - he has had many of these machines split in half and understands exactly how they work.

Originally from Lebanon, Ohio, Tyler enjoys riding ATVs, side-by-sides, and motorcycles, plus kayaking, snow skiing, water sports, and cooking BBQ. Fun fact: he once rode the buffalo from the show Yellowstone.

Customer-First Approach

Tyler likes to give his honest opinion back to the customer and be as upfront as possible. As he puts it, "I will sell you whatever you want - but it might not be the right tool for the job." That candor, backed by real mechanical knowledge, is what keeps customers coming back.

One of his most common pieces of advice:
"Always buy a little bigger or a little nicer than what you think you need. It is cheaper to upgrade now than a year or two down the road."

In the Field

Tyler's mechanical background means he can match equipment to the real-world job, not just the spec sheet. When UC Health West Chester came in for a Gator with a cab and plow, Tyler asked the right questions and realized a 72-inch blade would hang off the facility's sidewalks. He steered them into a 1025R with a cab, heat, and a snow blade sized for the sidewalks - a better fit for the job, and thousands of dollars less.

  • Honest, upfront guidance grounded in hands-on mechanical experience
  • Recommendations matched to the actual job, the property, and the budget
  • Creative solutions - even a custom pink camo Signature Series Gator for a customer's 60th birthday surprise

"My favorite part is hearing how much they love their new equipment. The response I get most is, 'I should have gotten this years ago.'"
