Truck towing a J&M LC Speed Tender across a stone bridge

LC SpeedTenders - Premium Bulk Seed Tenders

Speed Tenders

Description

J&M's LC Series SpeedTenders are self-filling premium bulk seed tenders that include luxury controls and a round belt conveyor with a patented V-belt design.

Larger Capacity LC Series SpeedTenders feature a larger capacity AND a lower overall height. This is accomplished by supporting the conveyor from above the tank with a patented support arm. Other seed tenders support the conveyor from below which decreases capacity and adds to the overall height.

Lower Center of Gravity The lower overall height allows you to carry more seed with a lower center of gravity making it easier to fill and more stable while traveling over uneven terrain.

Longer Conveyor The extra long 22' conveyor with large diameter round tube belt design makes it easy to reach the tallest central fill and widest box row planters. The conveyor also rotates 180° for easy self‑filling.

Luxury Controls Standard luxury controls on all J&M LC Series SpeedTenders allow the operator to easily place the conveyor into the unload or self-fill positions and gives greater flexibility when using the conveyor as a stand-alone unit to unload adjacent gravity wagons.

Their Upgrades...Our Standards Seed Tenders should be designed to make your job easier and more efficient, saving you time and money during planting season. So why then do many manufacturers equip their standard tenders with bare bone features that will require a visit to your chiropractor? Do you really want to crank a winch to manually raise and lower the conveyor or swing the conveyor from side to side by hand? Doesn’t a smaller, slower auger with less unloading height and reach slow you down and make your job more difficult? Why have standard features that make your job more difficult? J&M LC Series SpeedTenders are premium bulk seed tenders designed to make your planting season efficient and easy. That is why we've included many of the competitor's upgrades into our standard seed tender models. Don’t be fooled by competitor lower prices.

Patented V-Belt Conveyor Reduces Seed Damage and Maintenance The unique conveyor design features a patented V-guided belt that is positioned in a recessed portion of the end rollers to ensure the belt remains centered, reducing the need for adjustment and minimizing the chance of seed damage, premature wear and added maintenance expense. Because the Tru‐Trak belt consistently stays in alignment, the skirting at the top of the conveyor can be designed with a more precise fit that reduces the potential for seed damage and collecting debris in the clean-out area.

Standard Features

Patented Support Arm Design: The patented design supports the conveyor from the top, providing better balance and making it easier for one person to rotate from the unload to self‐fill positions. Supporting the conveyor from the top rather than underneath also allows the tank to be designed with a lower center of gravity for greater stability during transport.

Glide Right Roll Tarp: Smoother Tracking: Grooved rollers glide along the end caps for ultimate tracking, reducing the chances of misalignment.

Reduced Binding: Front and rear return springs apply even tension to reduce binding compared to systems that use a single return spring.

Easy Glide Axle System: The triple-axle undercarriage features an Easy‐Glide Axle System with the center axle positioned slightly lower, making it easier to turn and maneuver.

On-Board Controller: The on-board controller provides a secondary control option for both the standard wired and optional wireless units in case the batteries fail, the remote is misplaced or a cord is damaged. The on-board controller, which includes controls for the optional talc applicator, can be used in conjunction with the current controls, allowing the operator to switch back and forth easily. Units with the Intercomp scale and wireless control have the on‐board control built into the same monitor.

Four Function Remote: Four function standard wired remote controls:

Starts/Stops Conveyor
Raises/Lowers Conveyor
Opens/Closes Doors
Swings Conveyor Side‐to‐Side

Miscellaneous Standard Features

13 hp electric start engine
LED work lights for night time unloading
Divided hopper for quick and easy variety changes

Options

Precision Scale Systems: The most effective way to precisely distribute seed to your planter and ensure uniformity is with an advanced scale system. J&M's electronic scale systems offer an Avery Weigh-Tronix or Intercomp monitor with wireless controls and many options to fit your specific unloading needs.

Scale Add-on Options for Weigh-Tronix Scale System: Variable speed control options. Optional speed control for standard remote. Optional hydraulic flow valve to manually control conveyor speed. Thermal printer. XLR Series remote display.

Luxury Controls: A standard four-function wired remote with On-Board controller is standard on all LC SpeedTenders. For additional operator convenience, upgrade to a deluxe wireless remote. Upgrade to an Intercomp scale system for a wireless remote that offers the most features.

Electric Roll Tarp: Upgrade your Glide Right Roll Tarp System with an electric control that can be operated manually at the base of the tender. Units with an Intercomp scale and wireless remote can control the electric roll tarp through the Intercomp handheld remote.

Patriotic Farmer Edition: To honor the patriotism of the American farmer, upgrade to the Patriotic Farmer Edition with an American flag stripe. A portion of the proceeds generated from the American flag decal will be donated to national nonprofit organizations that provide assistance to farm families who have experienced a major injury, illness or disaster, or mobilize veterans to transition them from military service to farming.

Miscellaneous Options: Choose from A-frame, gooseneck, or trailer mount options to fit your towing vehicle. Semi-hitch gooseneck mount with platform in place of standard gooseneck. Aluminum wheels in place of standard wheels. Hydraulic jack. 11' telescoping spout. Vinyl sock for end of telescoping spout. Talc applicator. LC 390 with two heavy-duty 10,000 lb axles instead of three 7,000 lb axles for greater maneuverability and easier towing. 3" Pintle eye hitch in place of standard ball hitch.
