The efficient Accel Deep Mower Decks with optimized blades extends runtime:

• Optimized blades give excellent cut quality, resilience to damage, and long wear life like the blades used on gas-powered Z300 ZTrak Mowers.       

Go home mode gets you back:

• When the battery nears depletion, the mower blades switch off and a battery reserve allows you to drive the mower to a charging location.
• Use the battery to depletion without getting stranded.

Productivity

The electric transaxle has the same 7-mph (11.3-km/h) maximum forward travel speed as the transaxle used on gas-powered Z300 ZTrak Mowers.
 
The wider 48-in. (122-cm) and 54-in. (137-cm) mower decks are more productive and extend further leftward, which improves trimming.

Electric powertrain

Charge anywhere with a standard 120-volt outlet (Z370R and Z380R Electric ZTrak Mowers)

An onboard smart charger is built into the Z370R and Z380R Electric ZTrak Mowers:

• Doesn’t consume wall or counter space
• Doesn’t require moving the batteries between charger and mower
• No battery contacts to deteriorate
• Charge anywhere with a standard 120-volt outlet and grounded extension cord
• Recharging a completely depleted battery is expected to take 6 to 12 hours. Charge time may vary depending on temperature and condition of the battery.

Batteries are ready to get to work in a Z370RS Electric ZTrak Mower and EGO™ tools

The Z370RS Electric ZTrak includes an external smart charger. When the charger is connected to the mower, all six batteries are charged and maintained. The charger will completely charge a set of depleted batteries in 4 to 5 hours. Charge time may vary depending on temperature and condition of the batteries.

The built-in charging hardware also serves as a six-battery charging hub, enabling you to use the mower’s charged batteries in your EGO tools. The high-capacity batteries from the mower are especially helpful with high-power draw EGO tools like snow blowers, power inverters, walk-behind mowers, and pressure washers.

Both the onboard and external chargers are smart chargers that continuously monitor the batteries:

• Ensures optimum charging rate based on battery level and environmental conditions

A Z370RS Electric ZTrak features swappable batteries that provide homeowners with several advantages:

• Batteries can be shared with dozens of EGO products, including string trimmers, leaf blowers, snow blowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and pressure washers. All EGO batteries fit all EGO products.
• Run time can be extended quickly by installing charged batteries that were purchased separately, or by upgrading to higher capacity batteries.

Six included EGO batteries can mow up to 1.25 acres* on a charge

The Z370RS Electric ZTrak is shipped with six (two 10 amp-hour and four 6 amp-hour) 56 V EGO lithium-ion batteries. The six batteries provide 2.46 kilowatt hours of power that can mow up to 1.25 acres* of lawn.

While it is recommended to mow with four to six batteries, only two batteries are required to operate the mower, allowing homeowners with smaller properties to use batteries for other tasks and tools.

The batteries are accessed under a cover on the back of the mower. The cover is equipped with a gas spring to hold it open. To protect the batteries from tampering, the cover can be locked.

Built-in charging hub

The Z370RS charging hardware serves as a six-battery charging hub, freeing space while enabling you to use the mower’s charged batteries in your EGO tools. The high-capacity batteries from the mower are especially helpful with high-power draw

IPx4 water resistance rating

The Z370RS Electric ZTtrak is designed to withstand dust and water. The mower deck may even be washed with a water hose. While the rear cover provides additional protection to the swappable batteries, it is not recommended to wash the entire mower with water.

5-year or 200-hour battery warranty

The EGO batteries included in the Z370RS are backed by a 5-year or 200-hour, whichever comes first, battery warranty.

Frame

The Z300R Electric ZTrak Mower frame is constructed of heavy-duty formed and welded steel for strength, reliability, and long life:

• Robust 2.5-in. x 2-in. (6-cm x 5-cm) steel tubing in front and 1.5-in. x 2-in. (4-cm x 5-cm) steel tubing on the sides
• A front bumper protects the front of the mower from damage
• Caster wheel pivots have sealed bearings for easy steering and long life

Mower Decks

The Accel Deep Mower Decks are forged from heavy-gauge steel:

•   42-in. (107-cm) Accel Deep Mower Deck: 12-gauge, 0.105-in. (2.7-mm)
•   48-in. (122-cm) and 54-in. (137-cm) Accel Deep Mower Decks: 10-gauge, 0.135-in. (3.4-mm)

To withstand impacts both decks feature:

Get started with the power button

A simple hold of the power button activates a Z300R Electric ZTrak. A key pin can be removed to prevent unintended access.

Two easy-to-see displays keep you informed

Display panel

• Located on the console near power button and mower controls
• Shows your battery level, operating mode, and operating hours
  • Z370RS display includes battery status indicators for each of the six batteries which displays the quantity of batteries in use, and if there is a problem with a specific battery
• Advises if an unsatisfied PTO, seat, or motion-control interlock is preventing operation
• Advises when the mower is in push mode or when park brake is applied
• Back lit for night visibility

You’re in control

The electric transaxle of the Z300R Electric ZTrak is tuned to be smooth, responsive, and operate like a gas-powered ZTrak Mower.

Three operating modes enable you to tailor the performance to your preferences and yard conditions:

• Low mode - 5-mph (8-km/h) travel speed for trimming or precise maneuvering
• High mode - Full 7-mph (11.3-km/h) travel speed for most mowing situations
• Bagging mode - Increased mower-blade speeds to support material collection* or challenging mowing conditions

Operating mode can be changed using the mode switch

Material collection is only available on the Z370RS and Z370R with the 42-in. (107-cm) mower deck.

Automatic park brake

The integrated park brake is automatically applied when motion control levers are stowed outward and disengaged when levers are placed into operating position.

Mow at the right height every time

A foot-lift pedal and a cut-height preset work together to set the cut height and ensure the mower deck returns to the correct position:

• Easily lift the mower deck using the foot-lift pedal
• Use the cut-height adjustment knob to set your desired cutting height
• Release the lift pedal to lower the mower deck to the preset cut height
• Mower deck cutting height adjusts from 1.25 to 4.5 in. (3 to 11 cm) in 0.25-in. (0.64-cm) increments

 
The foot-lift pedal also provides a convenient way to temporarily raise the mower deck over an obstruction while mowing.

John Deere riding lawn mowers are equipped with a QR code label that links to an owner support website. The label can be found on the front panel under the seat.

The owner support website is formatted for smart phones and available without setting up an account and password. The QR code includes the mower’s serial number, enabling the owner support website to provide a maintenance schedule, service parts, attachments, how-to guide, videos, warranty information, and an operator’s manual for the specific mower.

The owner support website also allows users to purchase service parts, schedule dealer service, purchase extended warranties, and download the Equipment Mobile app. The Equipment Mobile app enables users to maintain a shared digital service record with their dealer.

Convenient service interval decal

The service interval decal includes recommended service points, intervals, and part numbers. On Z300 ZTrak Mowers the label is located on the bottom of the seat pan.

Push mode

If you need to push or tow the mower you can activate the push-mode switch which allows the drive wheels to roll freely.

Tie-down locations

Front and rear tie-down locations are provided for convenience and safety when trailering the mower.

Overview

A Z300 Electric ZTrak is covered by a 3-year or 200-hour, whichever comes first, bumper-to-bumper warranty.

The batteries feature a longer 5-year or 200-hour, whichever comes first, coverage period.

An  optional PowerGard™ Lithium-Ion Battery Protection Plan, with a 10-year or 400-hour coverage period, whichever comes first, is available for the sealed batteries used in Z370R and Z380R models.

An optional PowerGard Protection Plan Residential is available to cover the remaining components of all Z300 Electric ZTrak models. PowerGard Protection Plans are only available in the United States.

All warranty repairs are serviced and administrated by your John Deere dealer; dealer, there is no need to file claims with component suppliers.

A Z300 Electric ZTrak provides accepts the same versatile attachments as gasoline-powered Z300 ZTrak Mowers.

Tow with standard rear hitch

A standard rear hitch provides the ability to pull 250 lb (113 kg) of weight. Use the hitch with carts, tow-behind spreaders, aerators, and thatchers.

Options for your clippings and grass

An optional MulchControl attachment enables you to mulch frequently and gives you the option to convert to side discharge in seconds if the grass is too tall to mulch.

An optional 6.5-bu (230-L) rear bagger collects grass clippings and leaves. The bagger only available on Z370RS and Z370R models equipped with the 42-in. (107-cm) Accel Deep™ Mower Deck.

Boarding step makes it easier to get on mower

An optional boarding step allows for easier mounting and dismounting of a zero-turn mower. The step attaches to the left side of the mower frame for convenient access.

An optional rear bumper is available to protect the back of the mower. Optional seat covers and protective covers protect your investment from sun damage, rain, and dust.

Keep your John Deere equipment running its best with the John Deere Equipment Mobile App. Download the app from the mobile device’s app store, then add all your John Deere equipment by scanning the serial number bar codes. Once your equipment is added, you can access all your product’s model, serial number, and model year information in one place. The app also provides maintenance, parts, and support resources that are specific to your serial number(s).

It is important to get the right parts the first time. When you load your equipment list, Equipment Mobile provides parts information specific to your serial number(s). This is helpful to you and your John Deere dealer, as some parts can vary by serial number range.

Plan, track, and coordinate maintenance with your dealer

Equipment Mobile includes comprehensive maintenance plans for each piece of your equipment. The maintenance plan screen keeps track of completed tasks, provides a place for your notes, and provides parts listings. You can also share your maintenance plan with your dealership, enabling tasks completed by the dealer to be included.

Operator’s manual in the palm of your hands

A machine’s operator’s manual is a go-to resource that is available in Equipment Mobile. You can search, view, and download a copy. The operator’s manual is specific to the serial number(s) of your equipment.

Smart Connectors

A smart connector links the mower to the Equipment Mobile App and transmits vehicle information via Bluetooth® wireless technology to provide:

• Engine hours, that enable maintenance reminders
• Key switch status and battery level to warn if the battery is low
• Fuel level - even when away from the mower, the app remembers the fuel level so you can make sure the mower is fueled when it is time to mow

Optional BUC11960 smart connector is for use with:

• S120, S130, S160, S170, and S180 Tractors
• Model year 2021 and newer S240 Tractors (serial number 880,001-)
• Z515E, Z530M, Z530R, and Z545R ZTrak™ Mowers

Hours, fuel level, key switch status, and battery level are updated whenever the Equipment Mobile device is in range of a mower with a BUC11960 smart connector.

Optional BUC10537 smart connector is for use with:

• Model year 2016 and newer Select Series X300 and X500 Tractors

Hours, fuel level, key switch status, and battery level are updated whenever the mower’s key is turned on and the Equipment Mobile device is in range of a mower with a BUC10537 smart connector. The X350R Tractor does not report exact fuel level, it only indicates if the mower is low on fuel.

The Z370R, Z370RS, and Z380R Electric ZTrak Mowers include the smart connector in base equipment.

On Electric ZTrak Mowers the battery level, charging status, and hours are transmitted when the Equipment Mobile device is in range of the mower, and the mower is on or actively charging. Equipment Mobile can also update an Electric ZTrak Mower’s controller software.

A smart connector requires the Equipment Mobile App. The John Deere Equipment Mobile App can be found in the mobile device’s app store.
