John Deere Work Series Gator FAQs
What is the John Deere Work Series?
The Work Series is John Deere's group of Gators built first for work: the TX 4x2, TH 6x4, TE 4x2 Electric and the HPX615E and HPX815E. They focus on cargo capacity and stability rather than passenger comfort.
What is the difference between the TX and the TH Gator?
The TX 4x2 has four wheels, a 600 lb cargo box capacity and 1,000 lb of towing. The TH 6x4 rides on six wheels, doubles cargo box capacity to 1,200 lb and tows up to 1,400 lb, with a choice of gas or diesel.
Which Work Series Gator has four-wheel drive?
The HPX615E and HPX815E both have an electronic switch for instant 4WD engagement, a 1,000 lb cargo box capacity and 1,300 lb of towing.
Is there a diesel or electric Work Series Gator?
Yes. The TH 6x4 Diesel and HPX815E run on diesel. The TE 4x2 Electric has on-board charging and runs quietly with zero emissions.
What warranty comes with a Work Series Gator?
New Work Series Gators carry 12 months or 1,000 hours, whichever comes first.
