Connect more with the JDLink M Modem

The JDLink M Modem brings you the value of connectivity to machines in your operation regardless of brand, type, or age*. The M modem is easy-to-install and affordable while delivering valuable location information, machine performance and health data. When included with an optional John Deere display, you can also get agronomic (crop) data. All this data and information flows automatically to your John Deere Operations Center™ account where it is recorded and documented allowing you to measure and manage your operation’s activities better with informed data-based decisions.

When you connect your equipment and use the Equipment Mobile application, connected machines will show engine hours, fuel level, DEF level (if equipped), as well as maintenance tracking and alerts. Equipment Mobile will also provide much more information whether your equipment is connected or not such as is parts specific to your serial number, operator’s manuals, and much more!

Availability of the JDLink M Modem varies by country. Machine data detected by the modem varies by manufacturer and model.

If you simply wish to track the location of a machine, you only need battery power to the modem.

Equipment to modem pairing made easy

Pairing a modem to a machine is simple. Your John Deere dealer will put the modem in your John Deere account. The dealer can also complete pairing for you, or you can pair with these simple steps:

•  Go to Equipment under Setup in Operations Center; or go directly to https://Equipment.Deere.com Go into the "Devices" tab
•  Select the modem in the table view opening the right-hand details panel Select "Pairings" within the details panel
•  Select "Pair Equipment", which opens the equipment list in your John Deere account Select the desired machine to pair, and then select "Pair Equipment"

Easy ways to add your equipment

To pair, your machine also needs to be in your John Deere account. There are easy ways to do it, and great help documents to assist:

The power you need to tackle tasks around the operation now with a Premium cab option. Starting in Model Year 2024, 5090E and 5100E tractors can be ordered with a Premium cab from the factory that will increase your comfort whether you are working in the field or around your property.

Moving heavy hay bales through the field or using a larger 3-pt mount sprayer is no problem for the 5E tractors. The Model Year 2024 5090E, 5100E, and 5090EL tractors have a rear hitch lift capacity up to 4,600 lbs (2100 kg) which is over 30% more than previous models. Utilizing larger implements while maintaining the durability of the rear hitch can lead to significant efficiency gains on your operation.

The 5E 4‑Cylinder Tractor can be ordered with a factory‑installed 520M front loader, delivering a fully integrated solution that arrives ready to work the moment it reaches the dealership. By installing the loader at the factory, John Deere removes the complexity, time, and variability of field installation helping customers get productive faster with a solution that’s built, tested, and supported as one package.

The factory‑installed 520M loader is engineered specifically for the 5E4 platform, ensuring optimal fit, performance, and durability. Each package includes the loader fully mounted to the tractor with mounting frames, hood guard, tractor‑ and loader‑side quick couplers, mechanical joystick, mid‑mount valve configuration, toolbox, and bucket all installed and validated before leaving the factory.
