John Deere 2 Series FAQs
What is the difference between the 1025R and the 2025R?
Both have 23.9 HP gross engine power. The 2025R is built on a larger frame with a longer wheelbase (63 in. vs 57.1 in.) and more rear lift (915 lb vs 758 lb), so it suits heavier three-point work.
Should I choose the 2032R or the 2038R?
They share the same frame, lift capacity and loader. The 2038R adds 6 HP of gross engine power and about 6 more PTO horsepower, which helps with heavier PTO implements and wide mower decks.
Does the 2 Series have cruise control?
Yes. Cruise control is standard on the 2025R, 2032R and 2038R.
Which loader fits a 2 Series tractor?
The 120R loader fits the 2025R, and the 220R loader fits the 2032R and 2038R. The 220R offers a Mechanical Self-Leveling option with up to 1,377 lb of lift capacity.
What warranty comes with a John Deere 2 Series tractor?
2 Series tractors carry 2 years of coverage, with powertrain coverage for 6 years or 2,000 hours, whichever comes first.
