John Deere X500 FAQs
What is the difference between the X300 and the X500?
The X500 Select Series uses the iTorque Power System and Accel Deep decks. The clearest difference is warranty: 4 years or 500 hours on the X500 versus 4 years or 300 hours on the X300, whichever comes first.
Which X500 has four-wheel steering?
The X584. Its power four-wheel steer helps it turn tightly around trees and beds, and it comes with a 48 or 54 inch deck.
What is the most powerful X500?
The X590, with a 25.5 HP iTorque Power System. It also adds electronic throttle control and power two-wheel steer.
Can I mulch with an X500?
Yes. Every X500 Accel Deep deck is compatible with the optional MulchControl kit with one-touch technology. Ask our team to add it when you order.
Who can replace the belt or service my X500?
Our service departments replace belts, sharpen blades and handle full tune-ups on X500 tractors, and we stock the genuine parts. Bring it in, or ask about pickup and delivery.
